The students of College of Engineering, Guindy, who in association with infrastructure power house Akshaya Homes started an earnest campaign, “Let’s invest back in India; Be the Change!” as a social initiative of Kurukshetra 2012, the annual Technical Festival of College of Engineering, Guindy, scheduled to be held from February 1 to 4.
The techno-management fest of CEG Anna University Chennai, Kurukshetra true to its tagline, “The Battle Of Brains”, has become synonymous with the yearly clash of the best of the student world. Promoting International Education Week, which begins November 14th, the U.S. Consulate General in Chennai is launching 20 for 2020: Celebrating the Shared Educational Goals of the U.S. and India. Twenty Officers from the U.S. Consulate will speak to students at 20 institutions in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, and Pondicherry to highlight our shared commitment to education.
International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the mutual benefits of education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from India and other countries to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.
