Aircel Innovates with its Campaigns to Attract Consumers

Mobile data has become a tool to connect and fares better than voice data.  Aircel invited us for #AircelBlogUpChennai meet at the Part Hotel to give us an insight into the industry statistics and its product offerings.  It was an interesting meet with Mr. Sunil Kuttam, Head – Data Devices taking us through a presentation of mobile data statistics among countries and its penetration and various causes and effects for the numbers.  More importantly, we came to know about various campaigns of Aircel and the factors behind Aircel’s growth of 53% data revenue and 65% consumption.  We had fun and informative contests for the group of about 25+ bloggers from the City.

Our First IndiBlogger Meet, Courtesy #FlipkartImageSearch, in Bengaluru

Blogger meets are fun and it takes the level of blogging to the next level. Who wants to be always in virtual space, it is nice to meet those bloggers we read and adore face to face and get to know them and what more if it is an event where you get to meet all of them under one roof.  To us, it was more than just attending the event because we were travelling from Chennai to Bengaluru to be a part of this meet and our travel was dedicated exclusively to this event. It was quite thrilling as it was our first Indiblogger meet and we were a big bundle of anticipation as to what to expect from the meet and if we would be comfortable as even the IB team in person was new to us.

Reminiscences – EchoVME #UrbanTreeChennai Bloggers Meet in Chennai

urban7Blogging is my passion and being a blogger makes me happy. Connecting with fellow bloggers never came to my mind until I saw few blogger meets happening elsewhere. It seemed all fun and it made me think it would be nice to meet our Chennai bloggers in person. It was quite disappointing to see blogger meets being organized in places such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi more often and Chennai not being in the radar for such events. My thoughts went to those Chennai bloggers I saw in the directory of blogger networks and started wondering if they ever met. Thanks to Manjulika Pramod, a blogger I follow in Twitter who retweeted about a Blogger Meet happening in Chennai with the link. The event was scheduled for the next day.
