Black Truffle Magic at Hyatt Regency in the Return of the Drama Chef

04a0be12-639e-4ad8-ac57-2350a16d054eAcclaimed Chef Mauro Ferrari on a trip to Milan came across Black truffle in the market and decided to bring it back to Chennai. Chef Mauro loves Chennai and wanted to give us the taste of Black truffle in his own creations through the Return of the Drama Chef happening at Focaccia till October 22. For the Chennai food lovers, Truffle is connected to pastries, that’s where we have heard this term often. Truffles are expensive edible mushrooms existing in two major categories Black and white – Can you believe that?  Black truffle is one of the costliest and finest of the truffles. Truffle tastes as a mushroom and it was the hero of the dishes by the expert chef Mauro Ferrari.

Vegetarian Food Review – Rajasthani Food Festival Beckons at Westin Velachery, Chennai

Curious to know what is in store, we went for the buffet and were stunned at the lavish spread. We were left wondering if we would be in a position to taste (at the least) all of them.  Buffet was categorized as starters, main course, salad counter, chat counter and dessert counter.

Park Hyatt Experience, Diabetic Trail at Flying Elephant

578162_392218964149399_1618391172_nOn our mission to uncover different types of food, we came across the ‘Diabetic Trail’ hosted by Park Hyatt, Chennai. As we were contemplating trying out this food, we got an opportunity to be a part of the tasting session. Park Hyatt is a new experience to us as we were targeting restaurants and hotels just did not feature in our radar for food review unless they have something interesting to offer from our viewpoint. As a resident of Chennai, we hardly get to experiment with hotels and their restaurants and look at them only when we get people talking about it. Curious to know what this restaurant, Flying Elephant, has to offer us, we joined Park Hyatt for a tasting session.
