Quick Bites : Easy to Make Yummy Pasta
This is my new series on making yummy pasta. What we will be seeing in this section is short cut food and working with certain permutations and combinations to quickly get the grub you require. Never reinvent the wheel! Chennai is home to many making a home staying away from family. We also see working newly married couple looking for a quick fix without compromising on quality and taste. This post is about making pasta and trust me it does not take more than 10 minutes to get it ready.
Ingredients you need
Any pasta – 200 gms
Knorr Creamy Mushroom soup (big) – 1 packet
Pepper – 2 tsp
Milk or cream – 4 teaspoons
Table butter – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
The accompaniments you get when you order home delivery of Pizza – Seasoning packets – Oregano, Chilli flakes packet or the combined packet. From now on, make sure to safeguard these packets. It is of great help.
Boil the pasta in 3 times of water (600ml) with salt. Make sure it is soft but stays in shape and drain the water off. Make a mixture of the Knorr soup in 600 ml water without lumps. Put it on the medium flame and keep stirring till reaches the slightly thick consistency ( do not make it too thick, just let it change from watery consistency. that’s all). Add salt to taste and pepper. Now the soup aka sauce is ready.
Add the boiled pasta and have it covered and simmer for 3 minutes. Now add the seasoning, cream and butter and allow it to come together. Switch off the stove.
Your Creamy Mushroom pasta is ready. Eat it hot. The whole process takes less than 10 minutes and is wholesome.
