Learn Yoga – Online or Distance Mode from Govt. Recognized Yoga University
Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (or S-VYASA) is a deemed university. Consciousness-based approach of yoga systems is the basis of education at SVYASA. The university is open to admit any person without any conditions for race, religion, creed, caste, class and geographical area of the country. It also provides distance education programs.
DDE has launched correspondence yoga programmes at the Bachelor’s level BSc Yoga and BSc Yoga Education and Master’s Programmes in MSc Yoga and MSc Yoga Education. For aspiring yoga therapists, DDE has launched post graduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy (PGDYT) and for PGDYTD, a Diploma in Yoga for Doctors. YIC or the Yoga Instructor’s Course, a mandatory, gateway course which is a basic yoga course is also being offered by DDE.
The DDE caters to the needs of all the yoga enthusiasts who are unable to attend our Yoga Courses at Prashanti Kutiram campus in the residential mode. It is also the responsibility and the Vision of DDE to teach Yoga through Education. DDE will strive to do this through its Mission – Yoga to Every Doorstep.

Yoga Research and Yoga Therapy – two Yoga fields which S-VYASA has poured life into!
Over the years, S-VYASA has been substantiating scientific validation through Research @ S-VYASA. S-VYASA successfully published more than 150 papers which have all been indexed in Medline and/or Psychlit/Psychinfo. S-VYASA has carried itself as a Centre of Advanced Research (CAR) in Yoga and Neurophysiology accredited by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
S-VYASA also houses one-of-its-kind Yoga Therapy Home with a 250-bed inpatient treatment facility called Arogyadhama. This is a Yoga Research Health Home which has been envisioned for prevention and treatment of Diseases, long-term rehabilitation and for Promotion of Positive Health.
Yoga Courses at S-VYASA Yoga University are recognised by the University Grants Commission, Government of India. S-VYASA now has 50 PhDs 100 MScs and over 350 students in various branches. The university has so far produced 6 PhDs and 2 MDs from the University, one from HUA, 6 from Bangalore University.
S-VYASA campus is 32 kms away from Bangalore. The campus is called Prashanti Kutiram, the Abode of Peace. Lying in the lap of nature amidst greenery, the campus lies sprawling over 100 acres. The campus is about 15 kms from the bountiful Bannerughatta National Park.
S-VYASA has an exhaustive Yoga Library with a good collection of 15000 books, videos and books SVYP (Swami Vivekananda Yoga Prakashan) is the publication wing of S-VYASA. It has about 35 titles, Videos and Audios
Svyasa has, over the years, standardized such Advanced Yoga techniques as CM (Cyclic Meditation), PET (Pranic Energisation Technique), MSRT (Mind Sound Resonance Technique), MEMT (Mastering the Emotions Technique), MIRT (Mind Imagery Technique), VISAK (Vignana Sadhana Kausalya) and ANAMS (Anandamrita Sinchana)
International Yoga Conferences at S-VYASA have been very popular in attracting some of the best Academia IJOY or International Journal of Yoga has been officially launched and will soon be indexed. On the IJOY website, one can read entire research papers published freely. S-VYASA strives to make this journal a platform to bring together all researches by all Schools of Yoga!

The sVYASA campus, Prashanti Kutiram, is located near Bangalore about 50 kms from the Bangalore Airport.
Sunday is the Visitors Day at Prashanti Kutiram. On Sundays, you are free to come and visit the campus at a nominal charge

Foreigners should have a Visa to India.
Bangalore is connected by direct international flights including British Airways, Air France, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, Gulf Air, Thai International, Sri Lanka Airlines and Air India. (For those transiting through any other city in India in the same airlines, immigration and baggage clearance are in Bangalore). Bangalore is connected by direct national flights to all main cities in India including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkatta, Chennai, Hyderabad, Goa and Cochin.

You have a few other options of getting to the Campus If you are arriving into Bangalore Airport, you can take a taxi directly to the campus. For safety reasons and convenience, you can also ask the taxi pick up to be arranged by sVYASA. In such cases, the taxi fare would have to be paid directly by you (Fare= INR 2000/-). Please inform your arrival details well in advance for this facility to be arranged.
You can also reach the sVYASA city office in Bangalore. There is the organization bus which leaves the city office every morning at 7:00 am for the Campus.

can I do it completely online mode or distance learning mode. .
