South India Philatelist Association – Promoting Philately

Philatelists are interested in collecting postage stamps, Indian first day covers and Indian Postal stationary. South India Philatelists’ Association helps all philatelists to meet and exchange stamps.

You can meet, talk, discuss and exchange Stamps with other Philatelists at the meetings held on Second Sunday of every month between 10.30 a.m. and 12.30 a.m. at the Conference Hall, PMG’s Office, Anna Road Post Office, Chennai – 600 002

You can attend talks and displays and see films on Philately at meetings given by advance Collectors and other members.

‘SIPA Bulletin’, a bi-monthly magazine is published by the Association for free circulation among members only.

You can have the facility of consulting Journals and Catalogues available with the Association and also borrow Philatelic literature from our Library.

You can have the advice and guidance from Senior Philatelists of the Association on any question relating to Philately.

You can participate in Stamp Exhibitions organised by the Association and also in Regional, National and International Stamp Exhibitions.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to Indian Philately.

As the Association is affiliated to the ‘PHILATELIC CONGRESS OF INDIA’ you can have access of that great organisation in getting expertise and other Philatelic interest.

You can have inter action with all the Life and Ordinary members and reputed Accredited Philatelic Dealers.

Life Membership : Rs. 2,500/- + Two Recent Passport Size Photos.
